Date: 2025, Saturday June 21st 10AM – Sunday June 29th 6PM
The goal of the Inclusive Spaces trainings is to create more communities, schools, and workplaces in Hungary where LGBTQI people feel safe, can be themselves, and can develop their abilities while enjoying the same rights as everyone else.
Key actors in building inclusive educational/community spaces and institutions are teachers, helping professionals, and employees. For them, we have designed a 16-hour free training program, after which participants will, among other things:
- be familiar with LGBTQI concepts and understand the negative social impacts of homophobic and transphobic laws,
- know how to integrate LGBTQI-related content into their work where they find it relevant,
- be able to apply methods tailored to their own environment that help prevent and manage bullying,
- develop an institution-specific plan to make their workplace or community more inclusive.
Structure of the 16-hour training:
- in-person session in Budapest, June 21 (Saturday), 10:00–18:00 (8 hours)
- independent learning, plus individual or group tasks and online consultation (5 hours total)
- online closing session, June 29 (Saturday), 15:00–18:00
The training is delivered by the experts and trainers of the Labrisz Lesbian Association.
Participation is free of charge, but requires active attendance at all sessions, completion of the individual or group tasks, and presentation of the final assignment at the closing session.
Lunch and coffee will be provided.
At the end of the course, participants will receive a certificate confirming completion of the 16-hour training.
Registration is open until Wednesday, June 18, 2025, midnight at the following link: https://forms.gle/YatniqPZqNabWMdT9
This event is the part of the 30th Budapest Pride Festival.
