A participatory filmmaking workshop, presented by Control Studio and Labrisz, in the form of a screening, discussion and pop-up exhibition.
A participatory filmmaking workshop was launched in May, jointly organised by the Control Studio Film Association and Labrisz, using the Labrisz archive, as a continuation of last year's historical-art exhibition Labrisz 25 -- Lesbian Herstory in Hungary. It will be presented at the Ördögkatlan Festival on 2 August at 16h. The screening will be followed by an informal professional discussion with Gábor Rumann and Réka Szűcs, the organisers.
The film programme will be rounded off by a site-specific pop-up exhibition. In other words, we will build an installation from the exhibition material in a very special location in the "tower" of the Bölcsész courtyard. For the duration of the festival, the tower will become the "sanctuary" of the former Budapest Lesbian Film Committee (2000-2006).
