Labrisz Lesbian Association, which started LIFT (Festival of Lesbian Identities), is 25 years old this year. In the quarter of a century that has passed, many events and changes in space and time have taken place not only in the life of our organization, but also in the life of the Hungarian lesbian community.

It's time to give space to the history of Hungarian lesbians and with it the history of our organization, so this year's LIFT is about these past 25 years.
This year's festival is special in more ways than one, and we are looking forward to welcoming you for two days with more than ten activities!

We'll talk about movements, tolerance, addictions, past, present, future, there will be dancing and films, without taboos, in a safe space.
The 15th LIFT is our time machine. Get in and let's travel together through shared space and time for new and lasting experiences.

English, simultaneous interpretation is available at Hungarian-speaking events, as needed. Please indicate your need for interpretation before each event with our volunteers!
This year we move to level 15.

Women are believed to be better connected to their feelings, or at least are believed to be more emotional. Are we better or just more expressive? What are the triggers that make us drink? How do we know when we want to change our internal state with an external substance? This workshop will bring you actionable insights into recognizing and communicating your emotions, all brought to you through the Sober November campaign by the Kék Pont Foundation.

Until I am measured, I am not known. What am I? Presentation by Teri Szűcs
How does queer-lesbian time pass? We shall contemplate collectively about being middle-aged women in Central Europe. Our questions will include: Are queer-lesbian life periods different from heteronormative ones? How does ageing appear in this time-context? What difficulties are faced by middle-aged queer-lesbians within the society, health and social care system? What is it like if one is part of the sandwich generation but one slice of the bread is missing? Who is going to take care of us? Our conversation is going to be multidisciplinary, incorporating arts and philosophy.
